Old School Parents
So, last night I asked for permission if I could have a relationship (become boyfriend and girlfriend) with my best-friend.
I have such an amazing girlfriend, words cannot express how much I love her. Read and be inspired, for those of you who think love will never come, I have first-hand experience that it can, and will.
First she liked me, but I wasn’t interested. Later, she had a boyfriend and I started to like her. After that she kind of didn’t have a boyfriend but emotions were still high and she needed a period to cool off, so after about a year of back and forth emotions, the tides of love have finally settled down, and seen that we’re both blessed and enveloped in warmth and happiness.
Even with parents on the prowl, I’m absolutely sure that everything will work out in our favor. Not only do we see it that way, but everyone who’s been told/figured out what was going on wholeheartedly thinks that we are the perfect couple.
I’m sure I share the same thoughts as her about high school and the like, so I’ll let you read hers now.
